I haven't figured out how to actually hear the music from the keyboard while it's recording, so I just watch the recording program and when I don't see anymore input I stop and save it to MP3. If you have mic jacks in the front and back of your PC, make sure you've selected the associated microphone jack to increase the volume on (it will say front or back). Check to ensure the "Mute" box under the slider has not been checked. Simply find the "IN" slider and make sure the volume is maxed out (towards the top).
